"DonorsChoose.org makes it easy to help classrooms in need. Public school teachers post classroom project requests which range from pencils for poetry to microscopes for mitochondria."

 

 

DonorsChoose is a 501(c)(3) crowdfunding platform for teachers to raise funds for small projects in their schools.  While the Tech PA is not affiliated with DonorsChoose, we are happy to support Tech teachers' projects by publicizing them to the parent community. DonorsChoose projects help cover small projects that come up in between the school and PA's regular budgeting cycles.

Teachers, please be in touch with your project ideas, and the PA will handle the process. We’ll get the required administrative approvals, and help draft, post, and publicize your projects. Not only will we spread the word, but we’ll even help with the thank-you letters once your project is funded. All types of requests are fulfilled on DonorsChoose from books to basketballs and academic trips.  More than 30 projects have been funded to date!

 

Corporate funding is more accessible than ever on DonorsChoose (and if you pay out of pocket for learning materials—as many of you do—you might as well add your support to your own DonorsChoose project and get an instant tax receipt.)
