Welcome to Brooklyn Tech PA Website

Message from the PA Presidents
Dear Brooklyn Tech Parents and Guardians,
We would like to welcome new families to the Brooklyn Tech community. To our returning families, welcome back! We hope you all had a relaxing and refreshing summer.
All Brooklyn Tech parents and guardians are part of the Parents Association (PA). We encourage you to familiarize yourselves with the PA Executive Board. We are here to serve you and look forward to partnering with you for the 2025-2026 school year. We have lots in store! Please check your emails regularly to stay up-to-date with information, announcements, and deadlines. Our weekly newsletter, Tech Talk, is sent out on Tuesdays when school is in session. PA meetings and other important dates may be found below.
Please have your students continue to check their class schedules regularly, as changes may appear during the first few days of school. Please email Guidance Counselors and/or departmental Assistant Principals with program inquiries.
Thank you to all families who participated in our first fundraiser of the year. If your child didn’t receive their pre-ordered gym uniform yesterday, you will receive a separate email with updated pick-up instructions.
Sincerely,
Tiffany Roberts & Kim Jalet

What are our teachers saying?
-Mr. David Newman, Principal
“There are aspects of our educational experience at Brooklyn Tech that we simply could not do without the support of the Parents Association. These include financial assistance, partnering with the school academically, socially, and culturally. From teacher grants, which supplement instructional experiences for our students, to Naviance, which guides students and families through the college application process. From supporting clubs and teams to enriching the social and cultural experiences for students. These are just a few examples of how the Parents Association’s support has had a profound impact on the Brooklyn Tech community, especially our students.”
“On behalf of the Caribbean Culture and Service Club, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your generous financial support of our 2nd Annual Caribbean Heritage Celebration at Brooklyn Technical High School. Your contribution played a vital role in helping us create a vibrant and meaningful experience for our students. Thanks to your support, our celebration was filled with authentic Caribbean cuisine, cultural games, and a lively fashion show. The event was not only fun and festive, but also educational and empowering, giving our students a space to honor their roots and celebrate cultural diversity within our school community.”
-Ms. Tracyavon Ford, School Social Worker
“On behalf of myself and the class of 2025, we want to thank you for helping to make our Sign and Dine event a huge success. We had a big crowd, enough food, and a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed it immensely.”
-Ms. Christina Massie, COSA
