Lunar New Year Corner

Brooklyn Tech High School's Lunar New Year Celebration is one of our key events celebrating cultural diversity, community, and fundraising event. All proceeds from the celebration go towards providing students with essential school supplies such as books, physical education equipment, and science materials, as well as basic school supplies such as books, physical education equipment, and science materials, as well as enrichment programs such as art, athletics, music, drama, and clubs.

Your generously donated items and experiences, sponsorships and advertisements, donations, and participation in our auction are all essential to the success of this event to benefit all students at Brooklyn Technical High School.

农历新年庆祝活动

Lunar New Year is a vibrant celebration marking the first new moon of the lunisolar calendar—a time of renewal, family unity, and hopes for prosperity in the year ahead. This beloved tradition is honored by millions across Asia and around the world, each community adding its own colors, stories, and spirit.

Last weekend, we proudly hosted our 9th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration, bringing together students, families, alumni, and neighbors to welcome the Year of the Horse. The evening highlighted the richness of our cultural traditions and the strength of our community, featuring talented volunteer performances by our very own TECH students and parents who shared music, dance, and artistry that reflect the diversity of our school.

It was a joyful night of connection, heritage, and celebration — an annual reminder of how our community shines brightest when we come together.
