Lunar New Year Corner
Brooklyn Tech High School's Lunar New Year Celebration is one of our cultural diversity, community, and fundraising event. All proceeds from the celebration go towards providing students with basic school supplies such as books, physical education equipment, and science materials, as well as enrichment programs such as art, athletics, music, drama, and clubs.
Your generously donated items and experiences, sponsorships and advertisements, donations, and participation in our auction are all essential to the success of this event to benefit all students at Brooklyn Technical High School.

Lunar New Year is a vibrant festival that marks the first new moon of the lunisolar calendar, celebrated by millions across Asia and around the world. It symbolizes renewal, family unity, and hopes for prosperity in the year ahead.
We are proud to continue our 9th annual tradition at Tech, celebrating this joyous festivity together with our community. Join us as we honor cultural traditions, showcase student creativity, and welcome the Year of the Horse with warmth and unity.
Ivan K. Jiang, Class of 2026 (Senior) Ivan’s design will be featured on this year’s official Lunar New Year T-Shirt, and he will receive two free admission tickets to the LNY event.
