School Announcements Parents, if you would like to have the announcements emailed to you (along with other communications from the school and from the Brooklyn Tech PA - TechTalk) If you are a freshman or parents of a freshman, please fill out the BLUE CARD SURVEY to receive daily announcements and other important BTHS emails. Newly arrived freshmen have an opportunity to adapt to a new academic environment, socialize with their peers, discuss concerns, and learn essential life skills. Yes, all students at different grades have Advisory geared toward different focus and their needs of their stages in their journey in Brooklyn Tech. The Advisory program at Tech is geared toward promoting emotional and social well-being and growth. For additional information regarding the Advisory, please click the link here. Sophomores have Advisory in the Spring term to assist the student explore various majors available at the school. Juniors have Advisory in the Spring to assist the students starting with their college application process. Getting the students familiar with making a list of colleges and process needed with their future college readiness. Seniors have Advisory in the Fall term to help them with the College application submission and college readiness.

Students will receive an invitation via email to sign up for snacks with Mr. Newman, the school principal. He is continuing a program from last year, where he meets weekly with ~20 students at a time for snacks and informal conversation. It’s a great way for students to meet the principal and helps Mr. Newman learn how the school can serve students better.
