The College Office has created Naviance accounts for 9th and 10th graders! (11th and 12th graders already have accounts.)
Naviance (also called "Family Connection") is software used by Tech students and the College Office in the college application process. It is mostly used in 11th and 12th grade, but occasionally in 9th and 10th grade.
Student accounts are already set up and can be accessed from the Naviance website.
Login: Student's Tech email address (e.g. mmouse1234@bths.edu)
Password: OSIS # (e.g. 987651234)
Parents are also encouraged to become familiar with Naviance. They can log in through their student's account or set up their own account linked to their student's account. An email was sent to all 9th and 10th grade students on Nov 29 with information for their parents to create a parent account. Please ask your student to share this information with you in order to access your registration code, which you will need to create a parent account.
If 11th grade parents want their own account (12th grade parents don't really need a Naviance account at this point), please contact Ms. Maysonet-Sigler in the College Office. But perhaps wait until January -- the College Office is extremely busy in December with 12th graders' college applications.
