Changes without notification shouldn't have happened. There were some tech issues around notifying students whose schedules had been changed. That issue has been fixed and students will be properly notified in the future.

There are 10 periods including lunch. Core classes typically take 8 periods, leaving room for electives or free periods.

No, electives are optional. Students who don't take electives will have free periods in their schedule.

Music classes (band, chorus, string orchestra) meet daily. Students perform in concerts twice per school year. For pianists/keyboardists, options include joining chorus or string orchestra, as there are no specific piano/guitar classes.
