Brooklyn Tech ID cards are the official photo identification cards distributed to each student as a member of the Tech community. Students are expected to have their IDs daily for entering the building and for use in the Brooklyn Tech library.

If an ID card is lost, a replacement can be purchased in the SGO store, on the 7th floor.

Students then must bring their receipts to BW2 where a new card will be printed.

When do students get their OMNI card?

OMNI cards are given out twice a year. In September (good thru 1/31) and February (good thru the end of the school year). Each card is registered to a specific student.

What do students do when their OMNY card doesn't work or lost?

If you lose your OMNI card, or it stops working, please use the QR Code to fill out a request for a new one. Ms. Ivy in 1W2 will email you when it is ready.

NOTE: This OMNY QR code is for BTHS students only. If your child attends a different school, please contact your school directly to request a replacement.

During the students' lunch or their free period, students must go to 1W2 to see Ms. Ivy to obtain and complete the LIRR Form for commute discount.

If your train/bus is delayed and your child is late to BTHS which results in missing class(es), please fill out this form.

It will verify that your route was delayed.

Once you get the confirmation, attach it to the BTHS absence form found here and get the teachers sign it of the classes you missed/were late to.
