Tutoring

For students who would like to get a bit of help with their classes, there are a couple of options:

​

1.  Every department offers tutoring by teachers during multiple periods every week.  Check out the tutoring schedule.  Going to tutoring a few times per week can make a real difference, both for students who are struggling in a class and for students who are doing well but want a deeper understanding of the material.

 

2.  During study hall, there are volunteer student tutors who can help with homework and other subject questions.  See the student tutoring schedule.  Some students might prefer the more informal setting of study hall tutoring, but of course students who are struggling should also attend the teacher tutoring described in #1.

 

Study hall is open from 3:45-5:45pm Monday through Thursday. Study Hall is in room 2N1 Monday through Thursday and 2E20 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
